This year's prestigious Baking Industry Awards has now been and gone, with this year's celebrations taking place at the Royal Lancaster in London on Thursday 24 October. The grand awards saw 13 businesses, people and products take home the most coveted prize in the British baking industry.
The Baking Industry Awards is an evening to remember and offers the leading people within the baking industry chance to network and celebrate the triumphs of our incredible industry. 2024 Host
Scott Mills
DJ & Radio Presenter
After 24 years, Scott Mills left Radio 1 to join Radio 2, hosting the 2pm-4pm slot. He previously hosted The Scott Mills Show live every Monday-Thursday 1pm-4pm as well as hosting the Official Chart every Friday. He also hosted Saturday mornings on Radio 5 Live with Chris Stark. Scott's Radio 1 show has created some of the most popular radio features ever, from Flirt Divert, Playground Insults and the world famous Innuendo Bingo.
In 2021, Scott launched his podcast Pupdates with dog trainer Steve Mann. He has also fronted the hugely successful Official Strictly and Eurovision Calling podcasts. Scott hosts the Eurovision semi-finals, and has also hosted The National Lottery and Points of View, appeared on shows such as Robot Wars, and has made ground-breaking documentaries including the World's Worst Place to be Gay. In 2014 Scott appeared as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing, the UK's biggest TV show. Over six weeks, Scott did the foxtrot, the tango, danced the samba, and dressed as a crab...
Scott was an official ambassador for Team GB, showing his support for British athletes during the 2016 Rio Olympics. He is also a patron for the MS Society, Neuroblastoma UK and has trekked across Kenya's Kaizut desert for Comic Relief.
